Well, since I've been really short on cash lately and getting a lot of requests for lessons over the years I thought I'd come up with a way for people to learn under my instruction through various contact programs and in various different aspects of animation.
•
What I would cover:I would cover many aspects of the flash program itself ( depending on the skill level of the student. )
•Some focuses of these lessons would include:- Anticipation
- Force
- Impact
- Follow through
- Weight
- Gravity
- Flow
- Easing
- Transitions ( changing attacks )
- Positioning
- Zooming for which brush sizes
- Effects ( blood, explosions, lightning, water, splatters... things of that nature. )
- Inputting sounds ( and where to locate them )
- Working with many characters interacting all at once
- Various different ways to go about animating your stick figure( in parts, in whole, segments etc etc.. )
- Correct use of blurs ( partial explanation in impact )
- Camera use, different ways to add more impact to your hits and ability to give your movie's cinematics.
- Menu working
- Backgrounds ( different background techniques and effects )
- Creative credits
- Movements ( punches, kicks, flips... and efficient ways to go about doing them right every time! )
- Choreographing simple fights, combat
- Using weapons, guns, staff's, swords etc..
- Using larger scale characters
- Impact effects ( gradient glows, black flashes )
- Scene transitions ( creative ways to go from one background setting to another )
- Simple action script
- Organizing collab files
- Fading in and out
- Dealing with text
- Stretching characters
- When to skew characters
- How to stay focused
- How to stay inspired
Many many MANY tips on loads of things you'd never find on the internet. - Such strange, but helpful things as ( if you have a tablet ) tie a string to your tablet pen and to your monitor, you'll never loose it that way.
- Or if you like to draw on paper simply tap paper on your tablet to give it that nice texture of pencil on paper as you animate!
On top of these topics here you may ask me any questions you like on any other subject of animation or practices, warmups , tips, tricks you can think of. Most topics I do have a tip or trick to make things easier, more efficient and even fun!
Those are just some of the subjects that we can cover and go over in depth with examples, free .fla's to keep with full length talks and viewing it done as its explained to you.
What this means is that I will personally talk to you individually while you watch me animate or draw the example right in front of your eyes with the use of Skype and Teamviewer ( free programs )
